I would love a career that involves say a home business or my own business that involves natural healing or even working for someone else I suppose. Acupuncture, massage, tai chi etc. I believe it is one of the best ways to recover and be healthy and I have been interested ever since I started using natural methods for stress. I go to the library a lot, reading about armoatherapy, tia chi, yoga, all that stuff.
What would I need to do, to do this job? Would this job be low stress?
INFO:
I'm in grade 11. In my first two years of high school, I took acedemic, but now applied, because its getting too hard. I was in honour role in grade 9 and 10. For my community service, I did a crafts program for senoirs for their health.
Gary Y. Yes, I do see where your coming from. Some methods are uncertain, and would not cure. But accupunture and massage therapy are benificial. The other are just stress reducers.
But a lot of drugs out there are a load of shit.
Just my view.

Seriously, I over think EVERYTHING all of the time. I just need a way to stop everything in my head constantly chattering, it makes me almost paranoid sometimes. I just want to have fun but my brain won't let me, I can't go through with normal relationships because I'm in my head to much.
Is there like a tea I can drink? a song I can sing? a needle shoved into my arm?(acupuncture, not drugs)

I have pain in one side of my lower body. it starts on my butt cheek, then down the hamstring and back of knee and down to my calf muscle. Also my foot is somewhat numb. I have to walk with a limp, I can sit down but it hurts to get up. Also, laying in bed hurts when I turn over. I have been to the Dr. and there is possibility of orthopedic surgery. Has anyone heard of not electing to have surgery, and have chiropractor or physical therapy/massage fix the problem? What about acupuncture will that correct the bulging disk. I saw the MRI and can see where it is a bulge, but the Dr. looks like she might be pushing surgery because it costs more money. Anyone have the same problem(s)? Serious answers by people who have had this problem before or doctors, please. Dont answer if you think you might know or are just guessing.
Also, right now I am on Percoset, Naproxen, flexoral. Drugs just making me drowsy, not fixing the problem!

A number of different medical traditions are now widely known and used: Western medcine (using drugs and surgery), herbal medicine, acupuncture(using needles at certain points of the body), homeopathy (using minute doses of poisons), and so on.
How important is the patient's mental health attitude towards his/her treatment in determining the effectiveness of the treatment?

I've had a condition now for over 2 months. I won't go into details except for the fact that I have facial pains, pressure behind my eyes and ears that won't go away. Shaking/nausea(just in the head)/dizzy/disorientation at times. Eyes are red when I'm woken up in the night followed by disorientation that lasts a few painful seconds. Pains come and go..mostly on one side of the face.
Got put on a z-pack(antibiotic..been on many lately) and having chills and face feels hot.. but no fever with temp taken. Been to all the doctors .. even acupuncture.. none of them can find anything wrong when something is obviously wrong! I never realized how stupid and routine doctors are. They seem to just prescribe me drugs and send me on my way! And most of the drugs I tried made things worse. Any ideas or opinions welcome.... I'm scared out of my mind and have no idea what to do next...
Coolbeans... Your absolutely right!!!!! Problem is I have to get healthy enough to be able to start doing the healthy things
Stressed woman.. I did have a blood test done at the hospital but I'm not sure what they tested for. Not everything I don't think so that might be worth looking into tks..
Well Cowboydoctor.. As I said I've been to the Neurologist.. maybe a different one next time but I did have a tooth abscess that was taken care of so you might not be far off. The problem is all the doctors and tests done .. they don't say it's from the tooth abscess.
Barbara.. I know now that suffering is worse then pain..
Emma.. my god it might come down to that.. and on the way home I might pick up a tombstone

I have asked many subtl questions about drugs and all have gotten deleted. But know i have been reading the alternitive meds part of yahoo Q@A and it seems people can openly talk about drugs here. When i said the word "pot" on my other qs it got deleted. Is it ok to ask those sort of qs as long as your in alternitive med q asking area?
