I have been trying to get pregnant for over 6 months. I have seen my doctor, used ovulation kits and monitors and am also trying acupuncture. I just realized last week that my husband does not wake up with erection in the morning anymore, which i think is a sign of low testosterone. Could my husband's fertility be low?

If you have not seen a doctor…it could be you. You should see a fertility doctor (and your husband…so he can get a sperm count).

My sister had no problem getting an egg fertilized…the problem came from the fertilized egg not attaching to the uterine wall. There are many issues that contribute to infertility.

just because he doesnt wake up with ‘morning wood’ doesnt mean his fertility is low.

and there is no other way to tell other than taking him to the doctor to give a sperm sample.

and it is normal for a healthy couple to take 1 year to get pregnant.

    good luck!

Depending on how often a week you have been trying it would be normal for your husband not to wake up erect. He could give a sperm sample at a clinic and get a sperm count to make sure it hasn’t got anything to do with him, and then you can consult your doctor (But husband first since its quicker, cheaper and it looks like you have already been taking the right steps)
