I'm worried that I'm not getting enough treatments because the acupuncturist is too busy. Will this even help me?

I was just curious if chiropractic, acupuncture, or something else would be the best way to relieve the pain. Sitting is horrible for me, but laying down is not. Heat and cold therapy does not help, it makes it worse.

I was in a serious car accident 3 months ago. Somehow I injured the medial side of my hand and there is pain in that aspect of the forearm as well. I have had 4 sessions of US and acupuncture treatments. I have side effects of tingling (enough to keep me awake) and stinging pains in the hand and forearm. The hair on the arm stands straight up for about 24 hours afterwards.
I maintain complete faith in my doctor but I suspect he is getting a little discouraged too, because the original pain is unchanged. I plan to continue for one more week-2 treatments.
Can anyone suggest some options if there is still no improvement and unpleasant effects continue?

I have a very close friend, she has been suffering from this for the last year and its been getting progressively worse!! The symptoms she suffers from most is muscle aches that seem to shift everywhere.

She has been to treatments like acupuncture, cognitive behavioral techniques, hypnotherapy and yoga, but none of it seems to be taking effect.... she is on anti depressants, but that also makes her feel bad just thinking about it.

I'm doing my best for her, always being there for her when she needs me, picking her up when she's down, and never letting her down. We've been on holidays together so I could try to pull her out of this!! Take her away from all this.... I can't find the answers to help her get out of this!! And its killing me to see her like this...

Has anyone been there, or seen someone close suffer like this?? What did you do to help them??

My friend had pcos, underwent 2 laprascopy , but
now as a result has adhesions. Only hope is IVF,
but the chances are less, has anyone benefited by
acupuncture treatment, and was able to conceive with the above problems. ? They are desperate, want help.

I have been diagnosed with MS for about 10 years. I have alot of pain and weakness, all of the time. So i decided to try acupuntchure. And aslo, I went to the chiropractor. It seems like 2 to 3 hours after I get this done, the pain is ten times worse, and puts me on the couch for days. (I have only tried both of these once). I am up to anything to get rid of some of this pain. They tell me to drink water after i get this done. They say its all the toxins in my body making me sick after the treatment. I was wondering if anyone else has expirenced this, and if i should stick to doing it. Maybe over time it will help with the pain. In advance thank you for all of your suggestions and commets.

Pharmacophobia - fear of taking drugs/medicine. My friend has it bad. She threw up seven times after her mom TALKED about medicine. And the thing is, she has this huge rash and we all think it's skin cancer, but the doctor just mumbles something about not taking medicine and waves her off. She's pretty convinced she's going to die and is an emotional wreck, is there ANY way to get her to take medicine? (by the way we tried hypnotizing, acupuncture, and therapy)
