I have set a date to quit smoking here in a couple of weeks..I'm not sure how I plan on going about it yet. I tried cold turkey and it was NO GOOD...i want to try another method this time such as medicine, the patch, acupuncture, shock therapy, etc. I was just wondering which ones were proven most effective and any personal experiences would help a lot as well.

Going thru fertility treatment, this is my third round of IUI, next step IVF, husband gave me the speech, I am not going to go be doing this much longer, he thinks he entire thing is ridiculous does not like the entire medical approach to having our third child. He is willing to donate his sperm to my cause but that is it. So I have to do everything to try to make this work ?I just started acupuncture, I am starting Yoga, I do not smoke, never have, do not drink and am cutting my caffeine to one soda a day and am no longer going to the gym. What other things can 43 going on 100 (in the realm of fertility) do to help increase the chances.

Does anybody have experience with getting rid of bad habits (scratching, nose picking, smoking, etc.) through hypnosis or acupuncture?
