Is there any website describing accupuncture points especially for hayfever?

Anyone has any idea where I could find more information on accupuncture points especially on Hayfever?

Yes, I would like to try on myselft.
I dont think so. I personally think simple accupuncture could be done by oneselft (the oneselft should have commonsense ). Like Hayfever, the needles are just at hands, feet, face.

You dont poke the needles in eyes....if someone does it, he/she is stupid.

Back pain – Tried just about everything!?

I've had a real annoying (though not chronic) back pain for the past 3 or 4 years.
This issue does not get any better nor any worst (so far).

The only way I can describe it, is as if I have been lifting bricks all day and my back is just aching and tired from a hard days work. The muscles that have this sensation are in the lower (Serratus Posterior) region or on random occasion, the pain will seemingly transfer to the mid section (Longissmus Thoracis) and when it does, its a very definite pain. Don't get me wrong though, on a pain rating of 1 to 10 (10 being bed bound and unable to move) my back pain is a very constant 4 or 5 in all of these years. Its manageable but very, very tiring to carry about all the time and can affect my mood and ability to perform certain tasks at times.

I've so far in these past few years, had X-Rays and an MRI, both of which showed very little to go on.

I've had massages, sports therapy, physio therapy, chiropractics, accupuncture, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants, hot presses, cold presses.

I've done Yoga, Pilates, swimming, stretching, back exercises and no-back exercises and no matter what I've tried or thrown money at or whom I've seen regarding it, nothing makes it any better (and some had made it temporarily worst).

I've not counted Voodoo out of the question at this point! LOL!!

Has anyone any ideas outside of all this??

I'm 34, Male and in general good shape and health. I work at a desk most of the time (but try to keep aware of my posture at all times whilst seated and try to take regular breaks to stretch and move my back).

Thank you for your interest, and I do welcome any sensible replies. :)

is there an accupuncture point near the lips?

i wanna get a lip ring but apparently having a piercing on an accupuncture spot is very bad...
so is there one near the lips?

How can I stop hurting? This might be TMJ but could be something else that is making my jaw hurt?

I am dying. I saw my PCP who said to get accupuncture. That didn't work. Saw the dentist who said to get massages. That didn't work. My jaw hurts so bad I can't sleep. It hurts all the way into my ear. Almost like an earache. This is has been going on for years, but since August (09) it is to the point where I cannot stand it anymore. I thought about crawling into an ER last night begging for help. I go to the dentist again on Mon Jan 18, but I think unless the dentist or doctor suffered from the same pain that I do, they don't understand. The pain is really wearing on me. I can't just lie in bed with a heating pad on my face for the rest of my life. The heat doesn't make it go away, but it feels good. Please help me. I am 39, had braces, had 6 wisdom teeth removed when I was 15 which is when the jaw popping started due to having my jaw tweeked like that.
I don't experience any headaches. It is definitely tighter and very painful on one side. The other side feels tight, but not as tight and definitely doesn't hurt in the screaming way the other side does.

Arm injuries due to piano playing (I’m gonna need someone really knowledgeable)?

Here is the situation: I have pain when I play piano, also sometimes when I don't. Sometimes I get pain from doing absolutely nothing stressful to my arms. It often seems that when it happens for no reason I am sitting down, although resting my arms in my lap, usually they don't hurt when I am standing up. The pain is locating on both L and R forearms, the underside upper half by the elbow, but not quite to the elbow. The exact location of the pain is hard to pinpoint. Sometimes it is shoots through for a few seconds, sometimes a dull ache for a few hours.

I've tried the following treatments with no relief whatsoever: Chiropractics, icing, rest, active release therapy, meds, stretching, exercise, accupuncture, and etc.

It's not a pinched nerved, carpel tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, tendinosis, thoracic outlet syndrome, MS, tennis elbow, or focal dystonia. Anybody have any ideas? Don't say something just to get points please, thanks a lot!

recommended pain management dr in virginia?

I have fibromyalgia and the pain has become so debilitating that I am on the verge of quitting my job as a nurse and selling my house for a smaller one story. My whole way of life has desinigrated into nothing but severe and exruciating pain. I am seeing a pain management dr but it takes an act of congress to get pain meds, and finally she did write me an rx, but it's not enough. I didn't get out of bed all weekend because of the pain. I have had trigger point injections, prolotherapy, accupuncture, phys therapy etc. Can anyone recommend a Dr who specializes in fibro/pain in the Va/Nc area?
