I started going to a doctor for acupuncture for lower back pain and she is telling me that it will also work for long time weight loss. Does anyone have any personal experience on this working or not working for the weight loss?

today was my first time going to acupuncture. for some reason I feel better...but maybe its the placebo effect?
I had to take of all my clothes besides bra and underwear. It was sooo awkward. I hate getting undressed infront of anyone I am so freaking shy and uncomfortable. It was so weird.
